Q: What's the best file format to provide for a drop-ship list?

Answer: Our shipping department will require an Excel file with a CSV (comma separated value) format when fulfilling a multiple location drop shipment. This is preferred on a 3 1/2" floppy disk with a hard copy printout.

Sample Format:

There should be NO punctuation in your table's field values. File name and field headers should be no more than 8 characters in length with NO spaces in the names (use a -dash or _underscore if necessary).

Please submit your drop ship list file at least 1 day prior to your shipment date to avoid any preventable delays. This will allow us to pre-flight and correct any files, if needed.

In the event that we do have to rebuild or reformat your data, a charge of $30 per hour will be assessed, with a minimum of 1/2 hour.
