Our state-of-the-art 41" UV 6-Color KBA Rapida 105 press is specially equipped to print the unique plastic lens material used in lenticular printing.

We now offer in-house lamination, for those special projects that need an opaque white on the back for two-sided printing, mailing, or adhering to another substrate (such as a calendar). The specifications for the laminator are:

• Paper weight: 80lb offset to .024 board
• Film gauge: 1.5 mm, 3 mm, 5 mm, and 10 mm.
• Gloss, matte, and satin finishes
• Speciality laminates
• Sheet size up to 27" X 40"

2-Phase Flip Animation A 2-Phase Flip animation is probably the most common lenticular effect. It usually consists of 2 sharp, distinctly different images that alternate when the piece is moved left to right or up and down, depending upon the particular piece. 2-Phase pieces work well as hand-held products or as POP display elements.
3-D Effect As the name implies, a 3-D Effect lenticular piece is one that creates the illusion of great image depth and different image layers. Commonly used as hand-held products, POP display elements and widely used in video and DVD packaging.
2-Phase Flip + 3-D Animation This common type of lenticular animation combines the qualities of the standard 2-Phase Flip animation with the 3-D effect. Often used for trading cards and direct mail pieces as well as POP display elements and product packaging.
Multi-Phase Motion Animation Multi-Phase Motion lenticular animation uses anywhere from 3 up to 24 images to create the illusion of full-motion video or animation. The main drawback with this type of animation is that it only works well as an up and down motion animation (lens running horizontally). As such, it is rarely used for products other than hand-held items such as trading cards.
Multi-Phase Morph Animation Lenticular pieces using the Multi-Phase Morph Animation effect typically combine a 4 to 8 frame Multi-Phase animation of two similar images "morphing" into each other, such as a person turing into another person. Like a standard Multi-Phase animation, this effect is best viewed as an up and down animation.
Multi-Phase Zoom Animation Lenticular pieces using the Multi-Phase Zoom Animation effect typically combine a 4 to 5 Multi-Phase animation of type or graphics that are enlarging, spinning or moving with the illusion of fluid motion. Like a standard Multi-Phase animation, this effect is best viewed as an up and down animation.
